I want to welcome you to the Experience Guide!
Before we hop in to all the info goodness, I wanted to take a moment and tell you a little about us.
First, Lindsey (my sister) & I have specialized exclusively in Boudoir Photography since 2012. That is over 12 years!! We have worked with over 2700 wonderful women from all over the country (yes we have clients fly in just for their session with us!) of all shapes, sizes, ages and occupations. We don’t work with models. All our clients are real everyday women just like us and YOU!
Your experience here with us is one of a kind. It isn’t just about creating beautiful photos. It’s about showing each and every client just how beautiful they are during an unforgettable experience that keeps many of our clients coming back year after year.
A session is SO. MUCH. FUN! You might not think that but it is. This day is all about you and we treat everyone like an old girlfriend when they arrive! None of this is normal and we understand that! There’s lots of laughing during the session because some poses are just weird to get into and no one really sits, stands or lays like this. BUT do not worry! We coach you through the entire Session! We get into the pose ourselves then help you to get into the pose! It may feel silly or awkward but the end result will BLOW YOUR MIND!!

We may be a luxury studio BUT we are extremely laid back and do everything we can to make each experience as comfortable and as fun as we can. During your luxury experience you will most likely witness some bad dancing, probably a bad joke or two, us knocking something over and of course we are going to lose our camera for 30 seconds even though it is sitting right in front of us somewhere on set. HA!

We, Jamie & Lindsey (we are sisters), started our Nashville Boudoir Photography Studio back in 2012 with nothing but a crazy idea, Lindsey’s loft and a love for photography. After photographing our first boudoir session, we knew this is the only thing we wanted to do and never looked back. Here we are over 12 years later and our studio is now one of the top boudoir studios in the country.
COMMON HESITATIONS
You do NOT need a reason for a boudoir session. A simple “BECAUSE I WANT TO” is perfectly acceptable!
A Session is really all about you, even if you are wanting to do it for someone else.
You do NOT have to know how to pose or “be sexy”. Who does? We coach and direct you through the ENTIRE session from your fingers to your toes and even facial expressions! And don’t worry, we will never ask you to make a sexy face or do something sexy.
You do NOT need to lose 5, 10, 15 pounds first. If we had a dollar for every time we heard “I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to book” after we wrap up a session, we could buy a caribbean island.
You do NOT have to be in extravagant lingerie sets for your session. BE YOU! Wear what you are comfortable in and if that means a tank top and pair of panties…let’s do it!
You do not have to be nude in your session. This is all about YOU and YOUR comfort level. Not ours.
I can’t afford it. Yes you can! Take advantage of our pre-session payment plans and break your order up into convenient payments! You can book up to 12 months in advance!
WILL MY IMAGES BE PUBLIC?
YOUR PRIVACY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!
FIRST and foremost, every image you see that we use/share publicly, the client has graciously given us permission to use.
We understand the delicate and intimate nature of what we do and we take it very seriously. It is TOTALLY, 100% up to you whether or not your images are public or kept completely private. The day of your session we will go over our Model Release with you. It is a separate form that you will sign to either give us permission to use them publicly OR you can decline it and your images stay 100% private and are only seen by us, you and whomever you decide to share them with. We do the Model Release in-person so you know you have signed something and your images are never used in a way you are uncomfortable with.
*We do not sneak this into your Client Agreement. Please be aware and ask this question when you are considering studios. The newer photographers/studios will do this. I’m not putting this here as a scare tactic. It’s just a heads up type of tip.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
This is one we hear ALL. THE. TIME.
Wear what represents YOU, not anyone else. If that means you are in full bra and panty, garter and thigh highs…great. If that means you are in a simple bra and panty or tank and panty…fabulous. If that means you just want to be nude, topless, bottomless etc…fantastic.

WHAT ABOUT NUDES?
First, you absolutely do NOT have to be nude for any part of your session, however, they can be so LIBERATING!!
We have a lot of clients that want to shoot a set of nudes but are very hesitant. That’s ok! This is all about YOU and YOUR comfort level. You can bare it all (tastefully of course) or we have plenty of poses that you are nude but your “party parts” stay covered.
Our White Sheet Set always ends up being the client’s favorite set! Sheets shots are great because you can start covered and then decide to push the sheet to the side at any point for some nudes.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK
GREAT QUESTION!
When you need your order back by a specific date (for example getting married, anniversary, birthday, holiday etc) we want to have you booked for AT LEAST 8 WEEKS IN ADVANCE of that date you need your order in your hands.
This allows plenty of time for your session, processing and editing of your images, your Image Debut and the production of an album if you have ordered one. Our most popular albums are handmade in Portugal and can take up to 3-4 weeks for production.
If you are just after Digital Images, please book at least 3-4 weeks in advance.

Booking in advance gives you the opportunity to take advantage of our FREE pre-session payment plan when you need to break your order up.
You can book up to 12 months in advance with an advanced order and our pre-session payment plan!
Booking in advance gives you the opportunity to get the date you want/need. If you need a Friday or Saturday, book sooner than later. They are always the first to fill and can book out months in advance.
Some clients like to book in advance and use their date as goal date if they are on a health journey, working out or just want something AMAZING on their calendar to look forward to.
Our calendar fills up quickly as we only take a limited number of sessions per month. This guarantees you a date!
THE PROCESS
REACH OUT!
We start with a no-obligation consultation to go over all the details, answer any questions and make sure we are the right studio fit for you. If you are ready to book, we will find a date and your retainer will be due at that time. If you are ready to book now, you can book online!
ORDERING & PREPPING
After booking, you will place your order within 48 hours. Orders can be paid in full or take advantage of our FREE payment plan. Then all you have to do is relax and plan!
Every client gets access to our Client Prepping Area that is PACKED with info and resources to help you prepare. Guides include: what to expect, do’s and don’ts, wardrobe inspiration and places to shop!
SESSION DAY
Upon arrival to the studio we will have a quick planning consult to go through your wardrobe, chat about ideas and talk about your comfort level. At this time, you may choose any add-ons or upgrades for your session if you haven’t already.
Next you will spend the next 1-1.5 hours being pampered with professional hair and makeup to get you camera ready with our Hair & Makeup Artist who is highly skilled with all skin and hair types. Once you are ready, we will turn the music up and start your session!
We coach and direct you through the entire process! You don’t have to know how to pose or “how to be sexy”.
IMAGE DEBUT
An Event all itself!!
We will schedule your Image Debut & Ordering Session before you leave from your session. Debuts are available in-person or via Zoom and will be scheduled within 2 weeks of your session. You will view your final images, choose your favorites for your order and make any upgrades at that time.
All Images are fully edited and ready to go home with you that day!

If we had a dollar for every time we heard this one! The women you see in our images are real women, just like you and me. Boudoir photos do not require a certain shape, size or age. Plus, we coach you through the entire process, so there is absolutely no modeling experience necessary! To toot our own horn a little bit, we are really good at what we do, and we guarantee that you will look amazing! Toot Toot!

We completely understand the nerves that can go along with having a boudoir session. We get that it’s not every day that you call up a complete stranger to take pictures of you wearing lingerie!
If you feel like you have no idea what to do or expect, that is completely normal! We do everything we can to make you feel relaxed and comfortable during your session. We walk you through the entire process and offer all the direction you need. Our clients often walk in feeling nervous, but always leave smiling and commenting on how much fun they had!

Clients must bring their own wardrobe to their boudoir session. However, when you arrive, we will go through your wardrobe options with you to help you choose the perfect pieces. We do suggest bringing a few extra options just in case.
We do have a large variety of heels in sizes 6-10, so if you don't have heels, don't feel like you have to run out and buy a pair.
Please try on all of your wardrobe pieces before your session to ensure everything fits properly and you are comfortable in it.

Full retouching includes the removal of blemishes, scrapes, bruises and anything temporary on the skin. We also will remove scars and stretch marks and smooth out cellulite. We will also do minor body modifications, which we like to call "digital Spanx," where we smooth any bumps and bulges caused by the pose or wardrobe.
We do NOT make you a size smaller and go all crazy with editing. You will always look like you. We just “shine the penny” as we like to call it.
**All final galleries have a variety of creative editing of full color and also black and white images. Creative edits are at the discretion of the photographer.

Short answer: NO. Honestly, we would much rather have you come in pale or with a very light tan. Self-tanning products, whether it's lotion or a spray tan, can leave you blotchy. Also, your skin may photograph with an orange tint, even if it doesn’t look orange to the naked eye. A tanning bed or natural suntan can create tan lines or white spots on your skin that may be visible in your photos.
If you choose to tan before your session and come in with blotchy areas, white marks, deep orange tan, a deep sunburn, or heavy tan lines, we are not responsible for removing, retouching, editing out or evening the skin tone.
