Featured Girl Friday - Miss M
When Miss M came into our studio early this year, we knew that it was going to be a blast for all of us. This woman is fierce, fun, and stunningly beautiful. We absolutely loved hanging out with her, and we think you should get to know her as well!
Even though Miss M has lived in Nashville for the past 10 years, she is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. This 40 year old stunner is married with 2 pups to keep her busy. Her proudest accomplishment is serving in the United States Army Nurse Corps, and is now an educator at a local hospital. In her free time, she loves riding motorcycles, reading, and hanging out with vets!
Prior to booking, what hesitations did you have about a boudoir shoot?
"Not being my ideal weight and not sure what to expect. Being a novice in this boudoir world was a little overwhelming."
What specifically made you give us a call?
"A few of my close friends had done it and shared their experiences. I trust these people so I looked into it a little further.
Ultimately, my husbands birthday really was the deciding factor. He’s not the easiest to shop for. Meaning, when he wants something he buys it and surprises are hard to pull off.
I think I can easily say I pulled off an incredible surprise this year. He loves his book and I enjoyed my session."
Was your session a gift for anyone special? Or was this one just for you?
"This was a combo, I turned 40 and always wanted to do something like this just didn’t know how or when. I would say it was for me initially and then it became a great gift idea for my husband’s birthday."
How did your session with The Adore Girls differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?
"I thought it was going to be a little scary and intimdating. It’s not everyday you get into your undies and have strangers photograph you. All the ladies were relaxed and easy going and made me feel so comfortable. I felt like I was part of the CKC (the cool kids club) from the word go.
Sarah, Jamie and Courtney are a trifecta you need to meet and be a part of!"
How did your session impact you as a woman?
"I felt a sense of super power after I left. I felt accomplished and really stepping out of my comfort zone. It was just so easy.
I liked seeing myself through someone else’s eye. Now I see what my husband sees and I have to say it’s not so bad!"
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
"I liked seeing myself through someone else's eye. It's nice to see what my husband sees. I have to say I was blown away at the images. I definitely did not see myself like how my images turned out!"
If you could give advice to a woman who was on the fence about booking a session, what would you tell her?
"This is a gift to yourself. We as women take care of those around us it’s part of our make up. It’s hard to take care of others when we neglect ourselves. This is one of the best things I could have done for myself. I have to say I walk a little taller and smile a little bigger because I see myself differently now.
Even though I shared my pictures with my husband, ultimately this was a gift for me.
Celebrate yourself and book a session! I promise you, you won’t regret it."
