Featured Girl Friday - Miss J
When Miss J walked into our studio in February, we knew it was going to be a party. She has a new outlook on life, and we LOVED celebrating her beauty!
This 37 year-old hottie is from Bowling Green, KY. She is an awesome mother to a soon-to-be teenage boy, and rocks the business world as an Internet Sales Director for BMW/Mercedes-Benz. She enjoys working out at the gym and being a strong support team for her son in athletics. She has a lot to be proud of between her handsome son and losing 127 pounds since her divorce!
Prior to booking, what hesitations did you have about a boudoir shoot?
"I was not comfortable with my body at all. I have had scars on my body since I was 11. I was hit by a car, so I have scars on my hips and legs. Then when I was pregnant, gained those lovely "tiger" scars in the last 2 months of my pregnancy. So I have been very self-conscious. I had a complex and never felt pretty or beautiful."
What specifically made you give us a call?
"I worked really hard to lose the weight and wanted to show it off finally for myself. I needed to lose the 'big' girl image that was stuck in my head and gain the 'damn, I'm hot' image in my head."
Was your session a gift for anyone special? Or was this one just for you?
"It was for me and me alone. I lost 127 lbs, so it was time to celebrate me!"
How did your session with The Adore Girls differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?
"It went well. Both ladies listened to what I was looking for and I was completely comfortable."
How did your session impact you as a woman?
"I left with a HUGE SMILE on my face and kept telling myself that I was hot. It helped with my self-esteem and allowed me to somewhat remove the negative image I was holding onto in my head about the old me."
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
"I was allowed to showcase my smile in the pictures and even allowed me to take pictures that looked like I was in college back in the day. It was fun and exciting!"
If you could give advice to a woman who was on the fence about booking a session, what would you tell her?
"I would say: take the plunge & believe in yourself. We all are beautiful people. We each show it in a different way. I always say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and you make the biggest impact to your life. Love yourself and always believe!! :)"
