Featured Girl Friday - Miss J
Our Featured Adore Girl this week is Miss J. She visited our Nashville studio this fall, and it was a session to remember! Her images are phenomenal - she just fell into the experience so easily. We loved getting to hang out with her, and hope to see her again in the near future!
Miss J is a 53 year-old Mississippi woman who is happily married to a man who makes her feel 20 years younger! Together, they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. She enjoys a career in the transportation industry, and when she is not working she loves to spend time at the gym. Her favorite place to visit in the summer is the beach, and in the fall they live for football! When asked about her proudest accomplishment, Miss J says, “Anytime I complete a challenge I have set for myself I feel a sense of accomplishment regardless of the results!”
Prior to booking, what hesitations did you have about a boudoir shoot?
“I can be my own worst critic about my appearance, etc., and I had some reservations about how the photos would look. But my husband is my biggest fan and he was always encouraging me to go for it.”
What specifically made you give us a call?
“My husband has asked me many times to do a photo shoot and he did a lot of research to find the perfect company to work with. After I went to your website I knew he had found the right place!”
Was your session a gift for anyone special? Or was this one just for you?
“This session was a birthday gift to my husband and also to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.”
How did your session with The Adore Girls differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?
“I was so excited when I arrived for the session I really didn’t know what to expect but as soon as Courtney met me at the door and welcomed me, I immediately felt comfortable and knew this was going to be a fun day.”
How did your session impact you as a woman?
“Wow! I’m not sure words can express it. Sarah made me feel so pretty with my makeup and hairstyle. Courtney made me feel sexy with the settings and poses. I really felt comfortable being a woman - even with flaws, I actually realized that flaws are pretty too. They are a part of who you are.”
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
“Everything from the moment I entered the door was an amazing experience. I still get goosebumps when I think about that day. But my favorite experience was the look on my husband’s face when he saw my photos - absolutely priceless!”
If you could give advice to a woman who was on the fence about booking a session, what would you tell her?
“Do it! It’s amazing. You will be so proud you did. You deserve it!”
