Featured Girl Friday - Miss A
The lovely Miss A is our Featured Adore Girl this week, and she hails from Fairview, TN, which is just outside of Nashville.
Miss A. is married with two children, and she says she is very proud of the life she’s made for herself and her family. When she isn’t “chasing the two kids around,” Miss A loves to paint and spend time with their friends.
Prior to booking your session with The Adore Girls, what hesitations did you have about doing a boudoir shoot?
My self image. I am a curvy girl who didn’t see herself as a beautiful woman. I was afraid I wouldn’t like any of my photos and would just be too uncomfortable to have fun and enjoy the whole process.
What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?
At first I thought it was just going to be a gift for my husband. But I also wanted to see myself differently. I wanted to see what my husband sees.
Why did you choose The Adore Girls for your boudoir experience?
I had seen their photos on social media and loved them. Then out of the blue and friend asked me to go with her to The Adore Girls’ open house and that’s when I knew I would have to have a session one day.
How did your session with The Adore Girls differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?
I came in so nervous but from the moment I sat down with Sarah I felt those nerves just disappear. I felt my confidence rise as Jaime began shooting the pictures.
What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
All of it! From the hair and makeup to the way Jaime and Courtney made me feel so sexy and kept me laughing. It was like hanging with old friends.
Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?
The confidence that the session gave me. I am not nearly as uncomfortable in my skin as I used to be and if I ever feel that confidence start to fade I just look at my photos.
Now that you are officially an Adore Girl, if you could give advice to any woman reading this who is on the fence about booking a session, what would you tell her?
It is so worth it!! I went swimsuit shopping right after my session and it felt so great to not hate the way I looked. You can’t put a price on the confidence that the experience gives you. Find a way to make it happen. You are worth it!
