Miss C came in for her second shoot in just under a year after her first session. We wanted to really dig deep on the "why?" with Miss C so we can share with you just why we have many repeat Adore Girls in the studio so often.
First up, a little background on Miss C:
TAG: How old are you, if you don't mind us asking? Totally optional!
Miss C: 32
TAG: Are you from Nashville? If not, where are you from?
Miss C: I'm from SC, lived in Nashville for 10 years but just recently moved back to SC (and ready to move back to Nashville).
TAG: Are you married?
Miss C: Divorcing........but technically still married, and dating (2 guys! ha)
TAG: Do you have kiddos?
Miss C: Nope....well still my fur baby
TAG: What do you do for a living?
Miss C: Cardiac Nurse
Now let's talk about your shoot!
TAG: Prior to your session with The Adore Girls, had you ever had a boudoir shoot?
Miss C: This is my 2nd shoot with the Adore girls.....in less than a year :)
TAG: Why did you decide to have a boudoir session?
Miss C: I did this shoot for myself
TAG: Has your session impacted you in a way you weren't expecting? If so, how?
Miss C: It has reminded me why I like me, and why its ok to look at yourself and say "Daaamn, you look amazing!"
TAG: Did the session differ from what you were expecting?
Miss C: It was so much better than what I was expecting. Being my second shoot I had an idea of what to expect, but getting completely naked was fun and liberating in a way I wasn't expecting. As I've gotten older I've been more comfortable in my skin, not that I flaunt myself, but I kind of flaunt myself and why not?
TAG: Why did you choose to have a boudoir session? For yourself or to create a gift?
Miss C: I did this session for myself. The 1st shoot was for my Ex-husband and it went completely under-appreciated he even lost the book (I found it when I moved out, no worries ladies). Talk about a knock to the self esteem/ego, and my 1st session photos are absolutely beautiful (duh Jamie, Courtney, and Lindsey did them), but they were tainted for me. So I decided to do another shoot, less than a year after my 1st one, for me. To remind myself who I am, and why I like me and gain some of my confidence and ego back (ego in a good way not cocky). I want to remember this time in my life, where I feel completely out of control, but also so steadfast in my decisions being for me and MY happiness. I know that can come off as selfish, but being selfish sometimes is a good thing, especially when it involves you being happy.
TAG: We would love to hear about how you gave the gift and their reaction if you don't mind sharing?
Miss C: Not giving it to anyone but me
TAG: If you could talk straight to another woman who is thinking about doing a session, what would you tell her?
Miss C: Do it! And get NAKED! or start with a sheet and let it come off... kidding, just do it because there is no feeling quite like getting your hair and make-up done and having beautiful pictures taken of your beautiful body by the nicest girls I have ever met. I mean who else is going to stand right at your butt with a camera, that you feel is fat or not smooth enough, and tell you how amazing your butt looks. There is always an excuse, 5 more pounds, when I drop a couple dress sizes, when my stomach is flat. Girl no one has a perfect body and we are all our own biggest critics, just wait until you see the final product and you will remember and SEE just how gorgeous you are.
Thanks to Miss C for sharing her story! We can't wait to have you back in the studio for session number 3! Take care in SC!
